Gujarat Municipal Finance Board is established under the Gujarat Municipal Finance Board Act, 1979.
A Chairman to be appointed by the State Government.
Three members to be appointed by the State Government having knowledge of the municipal finances or municipal administration.
Three members to be appointed by the State Government by virtue of their office from amongst the officers of the State Government.
One member to be appointed by the State Government by virtue of his office or otherwise from amongst the officers of the State Government. He is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Board.
